Printing Recommendations December 1999

Our site displays white text on a blue background. If you wish to print black text on a white background, you’ll need to change your browser’s printing settings. This is an easy procedure, which will not affect your browser’s viewing capabilities.


If you’re using Netscape Navigator® for Microsoft® Windows®:

  1. Click on File in the Menu bar.
  2. Click on Page Setup.
  3. Select “Black Text” in the Page Options box.
  4. Deselect “Print backgrounds” if it appears in the Page Options box.

If you’re using Microsoft® Internet Explorer for Microsoft® Windows®:

  1. Click on Tools or View in the Menu bar.
  2. Click on Internet Options.
  3. Click on the Advanced tab.
  4. Scroll down to Printing.
  5. Deselect “Print background colors and images.”

If you’re using Microsoft® Internet Explorer for the Macintosh®:

  1. Click on File in the Menu bar.
  2. Click on Print Preview.
  3. Deselect Print background color.
