Mission
Glossary Agent™ is a unique, annotated gateway to online monolingual,
bilingual, and multilingual glossaries of interest to professionals in insurance,
reinsurance, risk management, employee benefits, healthcare, and related fields such as
law and financial services.
Glossary Agent™ is updated and expanded several times a year.
Linking and Feedback
No permission is required to link to any Glossary Agent™ page.
All feedback,
particularly regarding broken links, is appreciated and will be acknowledged promptly.
Feedback works: one Glossary Agent™ user, for example, found an error
in a linked glossary. We notified the glossary publisher, who promptly corrected the
error.
Selection Criteria
All glossaries we select for inclusion in Glossary Agent™ load quickly;
are user-friendly; offer a broad, or highly specialized, or country-specific selection of
terms in a professional area of interest to our target users; and are written for a
professional audience.
Glossary Submission
If you publish an online glossary or know of one that fits within our focus and meets our
selection criteria and wish to have it considered for inclusion in Glossary
Agent™, please contact us.
Glossary Data and Classification
For each glossary included in Glossary Agent™, we indicate the
glossary’s:
- Title
- Language or languages
- Publisher or author, or both
- Country of publisher or author if not part of publisher’s or author’s
name
- Date of inclusion in Glossary Agent™
If a glossary covers more than one professional area, it is included in each relevant
category.
Each glossary title is followed by:
- Information on format — whether the glossary is presented in dictionary or
term-search format or a combination of the two
- Number of entries (if readily calculable or stated by glossary publisher)
- Cross-referencing — whether by hyperlinks or typographic style
- Latest revision date (if stated by glossary publisher)
